When using the Niagara Modbus Async driver, we have found that the default setting of 0 on the inter message delay causes high busy times when doing a number of read/write actions.Putting a setting in with a minimum of 20ms has found that the read/write actions do not then create a high busy time on the network.



This value may need adjusting for individual networks, but should not be left at 0 if problems are being experienced on networks.
